Clonduff Irish and County Down Irish did certainely have similarities with Manx Gaelic. I have heard several recordings of Manx which certainely reminded me very much of the speech of older people in south Down, even more than this recording which is of Ned Maddrel, the last native speaker of Manx back in 1964.
